Primary Functions

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, data-informed strategic plans for routine and emergency vaccination programs, ensuring alignment with public health goals and regulatory standards.

  • Act as the primary liaison between public health agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and private sector partners to ensure a coordinated and collaborative vaccination effort.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies while ensuring a high standard of care and program reach.
  • Analyze vaccination data to monitor program effectiveness, identify coverage gaps, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as doses administered, wastage rates, and equity metrics.
  • Ensure all vaccination activities are in strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including reporting requirements for Immunization Information Systems (IIS) and bodies like the CDC.
