Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute high-quality key-framed animations for a diverse range of bipedal, quadrupedal, and imaginary characters and creatures.
- Animate complex combat sequences, including attacks, blocks, parries, and reactions, ensuring they are responsive and satisfying for gameplay.

- Collaborate intimately with Game Designers and Programmers to prototype, iterate on, and refine gameplay mechanics, ensuring animation supports the desired player experience.
- Implement animation assets directly into the game engine (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), utilizing tools like State Machines, Blend Trees, and Animation Blueprints to build complex character behaviors.
- Rig and skin characters, props, and other dynamic assets, ensuring the topology deforms correctly and is optimized for real-time performance.
- Process, clean, and integrate motion capture data, blending it seamlessly with key-framed animations to achieve a high level of realism and fluidity.
- Animate environmental objects, vehicles, and interactive props to enhance world immersion and create dynamic, responsive environments.
- Troubleshoot and debug animation systems in-engine, working with engineers to identify and resolve issues related to character movement, blending, and collision.
