Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Manage the entire video production process, from brainstorming and storyboarding initial concepts with the marketing team to final delivery and distribution.
  • Operate professional-grade video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for both in-studio and on-location shoots, ensuring the highest quality capture.
  • Execute comprehensive post-production tasks, including editing raw footage, color correction/grading, sound mixing, and applying motion graphics to create polished and engaging final products.
  • Develop and animate compelling motion graphics, title cards, lower thirds, and other visual elements to enhance video content and maintain brand consistency.
  • Manage and grow the company's YouTube channel, including content scheduling, video uploads, and optimizing titles, descriptions, and tags for search (YouTube SEO).
  • Create various types of video content, including promotional videos, product demonstrations, customer testimonials, educational tutorials, and internal communications.
  • Repurpose long-form video content into short-form clips, reels, and stories optimized for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate closely with the content and social media teams to ensure video strategy is integrated into broader marketing campaigns and editorial calendars.
  • Analyze video performance metrics and KPIs across all platforms, delivering regular reports with actionable insights to inform future content strategy and improve engagement.
  • Maintain and organize a comprehensive digital asset library of all raw footage, project files, and final video assets for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Set up, manage, and produce high-quality live streams for webinars, virtual events, Q&A sessions, and product launches using platforms like OBS or vMix.
  • Stay current with the latest video production techniques, equipment, software updates, and emerging trends in video marketing and social media.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and visual identity across all outputs.
  • Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and clients, ensuring they feel comfortable on camera and capturing authentic, compelling soundbites.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and project timelines to ensure video projects are completed efficiently and on deadline.
  • Source and manage freelance talent, such as voice-over artists, actors, or specialized crew, as needed for specific projects.
  • Research and implement new video strategies to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and audience retention.
  • Perform technical checks and quality control on all video and audio content to ensure it meets high standards before publication.
  • Add and manage closed captions and subtitles for all video content to improve accessibility and viewer experience on muted playback.
  • Work with the web team to embed and optimize video content on the company website and landing pages for maximum impact and SEO benefit.

  • Motion Graphics Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects for creating animations, visual effects, and complex graphics.
  • Graphic Design: Competency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating and manipulating graphic assets for video.
  • Camera Operation: Hands-on experience with a range of professional cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema) and understanding of settings like aperture, ISO, and shutter speed.
