Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct in-depth performance analysis of all video content across multiple platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, tracking key metrics like view-through rate, audience retention, and conversion to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to visualize video performance KPIs, providing clear, concise, and regular updates to stakeholders in the creative and marketing teams.
  • Translate complex datasets into compelling stories and actionable recommendations that inform pre-production strategy, including content ideation, format selection, and topic relevance.
  • Perform rigorous A/B and multivariate testing on video elements such as thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and calls-to-action to establish best practices and improve click-through and engagement rates.
  • Manage and optimize video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, subtitles) based on SEO best practices and keyword research to enhance organic discovery and search visibility on all platforms.
  • Monitor competitor video strategies and industry trends, delivering regular competitive analysis reports that benchmark our performance and highlight emerging opportunities or threats.
  • Analyze audience demographics, behavior, and sentiment to build detailed viewer personas and segmentation models, enabling more targeted and effective content creation.
  • Collaborate directly with the video production team during the creative process, offering data-driven feedback on scripts, edits, and pacing to align content with audience preferences.
  • Own the content programming and publishing schedule, using data to determine optimal posting times and frequency for different platforms and audience segments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of different video formats, series, and campaigns, providing data-backed justification for continuing, pivoting, or discontinuing specific content initiatives.
  • Identify key drivers of video engagement and virality, reverse-engineering successful content to create a repeatable framework for future productions.
  • Lead post-campaign analysis for all major video marketing initiatives, quantifying their success against established goals and delivering comprehensive wrap-up reports.
  • Develop forecasting models to project video performance, audience growth, and potential revenue, helping to set realistic and ambitious goals for the video program.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform paid media strategy for video content, advising on audience targeting, creative selection, and budget allocation for promotion.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on platform-specific analytics tools, such as YouTube Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok Analytics, staying current with all updates and new features.
