Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Spearhead the end-to-end management of multiple, concurrent video projects from initial concept and creative briefing through to final delivery and archival.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed scopes of work, production schedules, resource allocation, and budget breakdowns for stakeholder approval.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal clients, creative teams (writers, directors, editors, animators), and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, developing contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Meticulously track project budgets, process invoices, and provide regular financial reporting to leadership, ensuring all projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Create and maintain master production calendars and resource schedules to optimize team capacity and forecast future resource needs.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, status check-ins, and post-mortems, fostering a collaborative environment and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage the review and feedback process, consolidating notes from all stakeholders and ensuring creative changes are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external freelancers, production houses, talent, and other vendors to supplement in-house capabilities.
  • Ensure all video content meets brand guidelines, quality standards, and legal requirements, including music licensing, talent releases, and usage rights.
  • Oversee the logistics of video shoots, including location scouting, crew booking, equipment rental, and travel arrangements.
  • Define project milestones and deliverables, holding all team members and stakeholders accountable for their contributions and deadlines.
  • Champion the adoption and refinement of project management tools and methodologies to improve workflow efficiency and visibility across the creative department.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports for leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and budget actuals.
  • Manage the organization and archival of all project files and final assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to translate strategic objectives into actionable production plans and tangible creative outputs.
  • Facilitate creative brainstorming sessions and ensure the best ideas are captured, vetted, and incorporated into project plans.
  • Anticipate project needs and challenges, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and resource management.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff of final video assets to relevant teams (e.g., social media, web, marketing) with clear specifications and usage guidelines.
  • Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor on all things related to video production.

  • Budgeting & Financial Tracking: Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for creating and managing complex project budgets.
  • Video Production Lifecycle: Deep understanding of all phases: pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM): Experience with DAM systems such as Bynder, Brandfolder, or similar platforms.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Foundational knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder to facilitate communication with editors.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
