Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design and create visually stunning, on-brand graphics for all social media platforms, including Instagram Posts, Stories, Reels, TikToks, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Assist in the production of short-form video content, including basic editing, trimming, adding text overlays, and sourcing audio for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • Develop and adapt visual assets for various marketing materials such as email newsletters, blog headers, website banners, and paid media advertisements.
  • Maintain and meticulously organize the company's digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring all creative files are correctly tagged, archived, and easily accessible.
  • Support senior creative team members during photo and video shoots, assisting with setup, on-set tasks, and post-production processing.
  • Perform basic photo retouching, color correction, and resizing of images to meet specifications for web, mobile, and print.
  • Ensure all visual content strictly adheres to established brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in typography, color palette, and overall aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop fresh creative concepts for upcoming campaigns and content calendars.
  • Create simple animations and engaging GIFs to enhance social media posts and email campaigns.
  • Design compelling visual elements for presentations, internal communications, and sales enablement materials.
  • Stay current with the latest visual trends, social media platform updates, and emerging design tools and techniques to keep our content fresh and innovative.
  • Manage a high volume of creative requests, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Source high-quality, on-brand stock photography, video, and other visual assets while managing licensing and attribution requirements.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a library of design templates in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for use by the wider marketing team.
  • Support the website team by preparing and uploading visual content to the CMS (Content Management System).
  • Participate actively in creative review sessions, offering constructive feedback and incorporating suggestions from team members.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of visual content, using analytics to inform future creative strategies.
  • Assist in designing and executing A/B tests for visual elements in digital ads and landing pages to optimize for engagement and conversion.
  • Provide general administrative and production support to the creative department as needed.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to ensure seamless integration of visual and written content for a cohesive brand message.
  • Help document creative processes, best practices, and brand guideline updates for internal reference.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential.
  • Video Editing Software: Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools for creating short-form video content.
  • Canva: Strong ability to create and manage templates within Canva for quick-turnaround assets.
  • Graphic Design Principles: Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM): Familiarity with organizing and tagging files in a system like Google Drive, Dropbox, or a dedicated DAM platform.
  • Photography & Retouching: Basic knowledge of camera operation and photo editing techniques.
  • Social Media Platforms: Deep understanding of visual requirements and best practices for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Figma (Bonus): Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX design tools is a plus.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

Experience Requirements
