Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and implement a holistic visual content strategy across all company channels, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand identity that resonates with target audiences.
  • Serve as the primary consultant for internal teams and external stakeholders on all matters related to visual branding, providing expert guidance on best practices for photography, videography, graphic design, and data visualization.
  • Conduct comprehensive visual audits of existing brand assets and competitor landscapes to identify opportunities for improvement, differentiation, and innovation in our visual communication.
  • Lead the conceptualization and art direction for major marketing campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives, translating strategic goals into powerful and effective visual concepts.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of visual content creation, from initial brainstorming and storyboarding to production, post-production, and final deployment, ensuring quality and consistency at every stage.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their specific content needs and develop tailored visual solutions that support their objectives and drive results.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive brand visual guidelines, creating detailed documentation and templates to empower internal teams to produce on-brand content independently.
  • Direct and manage photo and video shoots, including sourcing and managing photographers, videographers, models, and locations to produce high-quality, on-brand visual assets.
  • Analyze the performance of visual content using data analytics tools, generating insights and reports to inform future creative strategies and optimize for engagement, conversion, and ROI.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in visual design, content marketing, social media platforms, and creative technologies, championing new ideas and tools to keep the brand's visual presence fresh and relevant.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior designers and content creators within the organization, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of creative excellence.
  • Manage relationships and budgets for external creative partners, including freelancers, agencies, and production houses, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Create compelling visual narratives and presentations to pitch creative concepts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key decision-makers.
  • Adapt and repurpose existing visual content for different platforms and formats, maximizing the value and reach of every creative asset produced.
  • Ensure all visual content is optimized for various platforms (e.g., social media, web, email, print), considering technical specifications, user experience, and accessibility standards.
  • Partner with the UX/UI design team to ensure brand visual identity is consistently and effectively translated into the digital product experience.
  • Develop and oversee a scalable system for organizing, archiving, and distributing visual assets through a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.

Required Skills & Competencies
