Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Edit, retouch, and color-correct a high volume of photographic assets to meet established brand standards and aesthetic guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive video editing, including assembling raw footage, trimming, adding music, graphics, and color grading for various formats like social stories, product demos, and promotional ads.
- Select and curate the most compelling imagery and video clips from photoshoots and raw footage to tell a cohesive and engaging brand story.
- Design and create a wide array of digital assets, including social media graphics, email headers, web banners, and digital advertisements, using pre-defined templates and brand guidelines.
- Ensure all visual content, from photography to graphic design, consistently upholds and reinforces the brand's visual identity, tone, and messaging across all channels.
- Manage, organize, and maintain the company's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring all creative assets are properly tagged, archived, and easily accessible for the wider team.
- Collaborate closely with marketing managers, social media strategists, and copywriters to align visual content with campaign goals, messaging, and audience targeting.
- Develop and maintain visual style guides and best-practice documents to ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs from internal teams and external partners.
- Conceptualize and storyboard visual narratives for marketing campaigns, product launches, and social media initiatives in partnership with the creative team.
- Create simple motion graphics, GIFs, and animations to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of our digital content.
- Adapt and resize existing creative assets for a multitude of platforms and specifications, including various social media formats, ad network requirements, and international market needs.
- Review and provide constructive, detailed feedback on visual assets produced by internal designers, freelance partners, and creative agencies to ensure quality and brand alignment.
- Source high-quality, on-brand stock photography and video footage when original assets are unavailable, managing licenses and usage rights.
- Stay at the forefront of visual trends, social media formats, design tools, and emerging technologies to continually innovate and elevate our content.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas for visual content that will capture attention and drive user engagement.
- Prepare and deliver final, polished visual assets for publishing, ensuring all files are correctly formatted, compressed, and optimized for web and mobile performance.
- Oversee the post-production workflow from start to finish, managing timelines and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure all visual assets adhere to legal and copyright guidelines, including model releases, location permits, and music licensing.
- Design and format internal and external presentations, one-pagers, and case studies, ensuring a professional and on-brand appearance.
- Assist in defining the visual direction on-set during photo and video shoots to ensure the captured footage aligns with post-production needs and final creative vision.
- Crop, manipulate, and composite images to create unique and compelling visual compositions for key marketing initiatives.
