Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Assist in the complete lifecycle of video production, from pre-production planning and storyboarding to on-set support, filming, and post-production editing.
- Capture and edit high-quality photography and videography for use across all marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and internal communications.
- Manage and meticulously organize our digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring all media files are properly tagged, cataloged, and archived for easy team-wide access.
- Create and edit engaging short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) tailored to specific social media platform algorithms and audience preferences.
- Design foundational marketing collateral such as social media graphics, web banners, and presentation slides, ensuring strict adherence to brand identity and guidelines.
- Set up, operate, and break down professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment for both in-studio and on-location productions.
- Execute essential post-production tasks, including video editing, color correction/grading, sound mixing, and the integration of motion graphics and text overlays.
- Actively collaborate with the broader marketing and creative teams in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative concepts for new visual content.
- Transcribe and add accurate captions or subtitles to all video content to enhance accessibility and user experience.
- Support the management of the content calendar, ensuring all visual assets are produced, finalized, and delivered on schedule for upcoming campaigns and initiatives.
- Prepare and format visual assets for a wide range of platforms and use cases, optimizing for web, mobile, social, and print specifications.
- Retouch, resize, and color-correct photos to ensure they meet the highest standards for quality and brand consistency.
Secondary Functions
- Conduct ongoing research on emerging visual trends, competitor content strategies, and new production technologies to inform our creative direction.
- Provide crucial on-set support to senior producers and videographers during larger, more complex shoots.
- Coordinate key logistics for photo and video productions, including scouting locations, scheduling talent or subjects, and organizing necessary props and equipment.
- Maintain all in-house video and photography equipment, performing regular checks and reporting any issues for repair or replacement to ensure readiness.
- Traffic final creative assets to various internal departments and external partners, ensuring proper file delivery and format compliance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of approved b-roll footage and stock photography for efficient, ongoing use.
- Pull and prepare specific media clips, stills, and assets for press releases, corporate presentations, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Provide general administrative support to the creative department as needed, such as tracking project timelines and managing asset-related documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Hands-on experience operating professional DSLR or mirrorless cameras, along with a solid understanding of lenses, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment.
- Strong knowledge of core video editing principles, including pacing, color grading, sound design, and compression formats for web delivery.
- Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and best practices for metadata, tagging, and file organization.
- Foundational knowledge of graphic design principles, including typography, composition, and color theory.
- Proven experience creating and optimizing content for major social media platforms, especially short-form video.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and animation is a significant advantage.

Educational Background
