Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop, revise and implement industry-aligned vocational curricula and course sequences for secondary and post-secondary programs, ensuring alignment with state CTE standards, local labor market needs, and recognized industry credentials.

- Lead program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing outcome metrics such as enrollment, persistence, completion, certification rates, job placement, and employer satisfaction.
- Write, manage and report on grants, contracts and funding proposals (e.g., Perkins V, state workforce grants) to secure resources for equipment, curriculum development and student support services.
- Develop and implement career pathways and articulation agreements with local high schools, community colleges and employers to facilitate credit transfer and seamless transitions to post-secondary training or employment.
- Coordinate student recruitment, outreach and enrollment activities including community information sessions, career fairs, site tours and collaboration with workforce boards to attract diverse and underrepresented learners.
- Train, mentor and support adjunct instructors, lab technicians and industry partners on curriculum delivery, instructional strategies, safety protocols and assessment expectations.
