Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Record clear, high-quality voice-over tracks for a variety of media including e-learning courses, marketing videos, internal communications, and character animations.
Thoroughly analyze and interpret scripts to understand project goals, target audience, and desired emotional tone, ensuring the vocal delivery aligns perfectly with the creative brief.
Collaborate actively in recording sessions with producers and directors, demonstrating the ability to take direction and apply constructive feedback in real-time to refine performance across multiple takes.
Perform consistent vocal warm-ups and technical exercises to maintain vocal health, stamina, and flexibility for long or demanding recording sessions.
Execute basic to intermediate audio editing tasks using Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), including trimming clips, removing breaths, and reducing background noise to prepare audio for final mixing.
Manage and organize a large library of audio files, adhering to established naming conventions and project structures to ensure assets are easily accessible for the post-production team.
Practice and perform a range of vocal styles, accents, and character voices as required by different projects, continuously working to build a versatile and marketable portfolio.
Participate in pre-production script read-throughs, providing valuable feedback on a script's flow, timing, and clarity from a performance and spoken-word perspective.
Diligently research and confirm correct pronunciation for complex industry jargon, technical terms, brand names, and foreign words to ensure absolute accuracy and professionalism in the final recording.
Create and submit audition recordings for various internal projects, demonstrating the ability to quickly interpret a script and deliver a compelling sample read under tight deadlines.
