Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop and execute comprehensive, year-round recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and dedicated pool of volunteers, utilizing online portals, community events, corporate partnerships, and targeted outreach.
- Design, facilitate, and continuously improve a structured onboarding and orientation process to effectively integrate new volunteers into the organization's culture, mission, and specific role requirements.
- Create and deliver engaging and relevant training programs for volunteers, covering everything from specific task-related skills to organizational policies, safety procedures, and professional development.
- Manage the master schedule for all volunteer activities, ensuring adequate coverage for programs and events while accommodating volunteers' availability and preferences.

- Collaborate closely with program managers to understand their volunteer needs, define clear volunteer roles and responsibilities, and ensure seamless integration of volunteers into their teams.
- Proactively address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise among volunteers or between volunteers and staff, employing strong mediation and problem-solving skills.
