Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Coordinate end-to-end wind turbine program activities across multiple sites, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Serve as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders, external contractors, turbine OEMs and vendors, facilitating clear communication, contract compliance, and escalation management throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead and maintain the commissioning and acceptance process for new turbines, coordinating pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, grid synchronization activities, and final handover documentation.
- Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance program for turbines, developing outage schedules, coordinating technicians and service crews, and minimizing downtime through efficient logistics and crew utilization.
- Monitor turbine performance and availability using SCADA, CMS and asset management systems, analyze operational data to identify trends, implement corrective actions, and report KPIs such as availability, capacity factor and downtime causes.
- Oversee parts and spare parts inventory management, coordinate procurement and logistics of long-lead items, optimize inventory levels to reduce stockouts and carrying costs, and maintain BOM alignment across sites.
- Administer service agreements and warranties with turbine OEMs, ensuring warranty claims are documented, communicated, and pursued, and coordinating OEM field support for complex technical issues.
- Prepare, maintain and present detailed program reports, progress dashboards and financial updates to senior management, investors and stakeholders, including risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and site records, including O&M manuals, commissioning reports, inspection logs, change orders, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate and supervise contracted construction, crane lifts, and heavy-lift operations for turbine installations and major component replacements, ensuring safe work methods and adherence to lift plans.
- Execute site readiness reviews and pre-construction permitting checks, liaising with permitting authorities and environmental teams to secure necessary approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Implement and enforce industry HSE and GWO standards on site, coordinate toolbox talks, safety briefings and incident investigations, and maintain incident reporting and corrective action tracking.
- Conduct routine and specialized site inspections (blade inspections, tower and foundation checks, electrical and grounding inspections) and coordinate non-destructive testing or third-party inspections as required.
- Manage technical change control and scope changes across the program, capturing impacts to schedule, budget and resources, and negotiating scope adjustments with stakeholders and contractors.
- Support outage planning and emergency response exercises, developing contingency plans, outage scopes, and resource mobilization strategies to minimize lost generation during planned and unplanned events.
- Coordinate commissioning and grid interconnection activities with utilities, ensuring compliance with interconnection agreements, protection settings, and metering requirements.
- Facilitate training programs and competency assessments for field technicians and contractor crews, delivering technical briefings on turbine systems, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain effective cost control through budget tracking, invoice review, supplier reconciliation and reporting of variances; drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce O&M spend.
- Lead root-cause failure analyses and corrective action implementation for recurring turbine failures, working with engineering and OEM teams to identify permanent remedies and design changes.
- Ensure site-level environmental compliance, manage waste, spill prevention and erosion control practices, and coordinate monitoring or mitigation measures in accordance with permits.
Secondary Functions
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of asset management and maintenance processes within the enterprise CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Infor EAM, Maximo), including work order optimization and preventive maintenance tuning.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews for technical issues that require electrical, mechanical and structural engineering input and escalate complex defects to engineering teams.
- Support ad-hoc technical investigations, data pulls and exploratory analysis from SCADA and condition monitoring systems to validate hypotheses or support warranty claims.
- Collaborate with procurement to develop RFQs/RFPs for services, negotiate terms with suppliers and manage contractor performance metrics across the program.
- Participate in stakeholder engagements with landowners, community relations teams and local authorities to address project questions and maintain social license to operate.
- Assist in development and deployment of digital tools for field use (mobile inspection apps, digital checklists, remote monitoring dashboards) and contribute to the organization's digital transformation roadmap.
- Track and report on carbon offset or renewable energy certificate (REC) generation relevant to the program and support sustainability reporting as required.
- Participate in sprint planning and agile-style coordination with cross-functional teams when implementing system or process changes that impact field operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Wind turbine systems knowledge (nacelle internals, blades, gearbox, generator, pitch & yaw systems) and familiarity with common turbine OEMs and models.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:
