  • Prescribe exercise progressions, regressions, and alternatives based on clinical considerations, pain reports, movement faults, and performance data to maintain safety and optimize adaptation.
  • Deliver one-on-one and small-group training sessions with clear cueing, hands-on adjustments, and teaching of exercise technique to ensure proper biomechanics and reduce injury risk.
  • Monitor and adjust programs using objective performance metrics (strength tests, movement quality scoring, heart-rate data, wearable tech outputs) and subjective client feedback during regular check-ins and program reviews.
  • Create and maintain individualized training logs, progress reports, and measurable client KPIs (body composition trends, strength benchmarks, endurance improvements) using fitness software (e.g., Trainerize, Mindbody, TeamBuildr).
  • Develop and implement sport-specific and position-specific training plans for athletes, incorporating plyometrics, speed/agility work, energy system development, and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and registered dietitians to integrate rehabilitation protocols and medical limitations into safe and effective exercise programs.
  • Educate clients on safe exercise execution, movement quality, lifestyle modifications, basic nutrition principles, sleep hygiene, and behavior-change strategies to support long-term adherence.

  • Ensure all programming, documentation, and client interactions adhere to confidentiality, liability, and professional standards; complete incident reports and escalate medical concerns promptly.
  • Lead pilot programs and new product/service launches (virtual training packages, corporate wellness initiatives, performance testing days), including marketing support and participant onboarding.
  • Develop accessible program materials (exercise libraries, video demonstrations, written cues) and client-facing content optimized for search and platform discovery across website and social channels.
  • Track and report outcomes for clinical or research programs, including test-retest reliability of assessments, participation metrics, and statistical summaries for stakeholders.
