Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize yoga program curricula and class sequencing across in-person and digital channels, ensuring alignment with organizational brand, pedagogy, and student progression goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive program evaluations by defining KPIs (attendance, retention, capacity utilization, revenue per class, lifetime value) and building dashboards to track trends, forecast demand, and inform pricing or scheduling decisions.

  • Manage annual program calendars and seasonal campaign planning—coordinate launches of specialty series, teacher-led workshops, retreats, and community events while ensuring cross-functional readiness (marketing, operations, finance).
  • Partner with marketing to translate analytics into actionable growth campaigns—segment members, create conversion funnels for trial-to-member journeys, and validate campaign ROI using A/B testing and cohort analysis.
  • Oversee class scheduling and capacity planning using scheduling software (e.g., Mindbody, WellnessLiving) to maximize utilization, reduce no-shows, and balance instructor workload with demand signals.
  • Create standardized reporting packages for senior leadership and studio managers that include weekly attendance summaries, revenue attribution, program health scores, and recommendations tied to business outcomes.
  • Drive student experience improvements by collecting and analyzing qualitative feedback (post-class surveys, NPS, reviews) and collaborating with instructors and operations to remediate issues and iterate on class formats.
  • Develop and manage budgets for program initiatives—produce cost-benefit analyses for new series, estimate instructor and venue costs, and monitor P&L impact of programming changes.
  • Conduct competitive market research and benchmarking to identify emerging yoga modalities, pricing strategies, and partnership opportunities that can be piloted and scaled.
  • Lead pilot programs from concept to evaluation including recruitment of participants, definition of success metrics, data collection, and post-pilot reporting with clear go/no-go recommendations.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for technology implementations related to member experience and program operations, including piloting new tools, mapping user journeys, and training staff.
  • Develop retention-focused initiatives such as progressive series, levels-based curriculum, and membership incentives to convert trial users into repeat attenders and brand advocates.
  • Monitor instructor performance metrics (attendance, student feedback, no-show rates) and partner with HR/operations to manage coaching, compensation bands, and incentive structures.
  • Prepare and present quarterly business cases for new program investments, including TAM (total addressable market) analysis, pricing strategy, and five-quarter financial projections.
  • Coordinate with legal/compliance teams on waivers, certifications, and insurance requirements for new program types (e.g., aerial, hot yoga, therapeutic modalities).

Secondary Functions

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Business Administration, Public Health, or Data Analytics.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Program Evaluation, Education, Public Health, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Yoga (200-hour RYT minimum preferred) or equivalent teaching credentials and continuing education certifications.
